What the first week looks like
You do not need to switch everything on at once. Start with what pays off fastest and add from there.
In order
-
1
Build the website chatbot first
Your website address is all it takes. Reading the site takes a little while, so go do something else. No website? Skip this and start with a material link.
-
2
Ask it things yourself
Put ten questions your customers actually ask into the test screen. This step matters most — weak spots surface here.
-
3
Fill the gaps
Where answers came back thin, upload the relevant document as a material link and connect it. Price lists and spec sheets that never made it onto the website usually live here.
-
4
Set the tone
Write instructions for how it should sound. If there are things it must not answer, write those down too.
-
5
Open a path to consultation
Turn on only the channels you can actually staff. Collecting requests you cannot answer is worse than not collecting them.
-
6
Publish and install
Once the test answers satisfy you, publish the chatbot and paste the install code into your site.
Do not wait for perfect
Holding on until every answer is complete pushes the start indefinitely. What real visitors ask is knowable only once it is live, and the unanswered-question list tells you what to add next. That said, if there is something that must never be answered wrongly, close that off first.
What to look at the following week
Unanswered questions
The first list to check. It tells you exactly where material is missing.
The visitor list
See whether anyone is worth contacting. The conversation is there, so you know how to open.
The words customers used
Their vocabulary often differs from yours — a clue for rewriting your own pages.
Send one material link
Next time you send a proposal, send a link instead of a file. Simply seeing it opened changes what you do next.
Common questions
- Can we use it without a website?
- Yes — material links and digital cards work on their own. If you have something to send, you can start without a site.
- We do not have much material.
- Less material means a narrower range of answers. But you are told what is missing, so filling gaps as you go is a workable way to use it.
- Can one person use it alone?
- The free plan assumes a single user. Inviting team members needs a paid plan.
One website address is enough to start
The first step takes about ten minutes.
