Where your material goes, and where it does not
Uploading company documents raises the question of what is used where. Here is how it actually works.
Your material
It stays inside your account
Uploaded material goes into storage belonging to that account alone. Another customer chatbot drawing on it cannot happen by design.
It is used to produce answers
Answering a visitor means your material and their question pass through AI processing. Answers are grounded in that material, and without grounds it declines to answer.
Deleting removes it
Delete material or a chatbot and what was learned from it goes too. Note that conversations tied to it are removed as well, so check before deleting if you need the record.
Transport is encrypted
Uploading and viewing both travel over encrypted connections.
Visitor data
No login is collected
Visitors read and ask without signing up. A name and contact appear only when they request consultation or a booking.
Kept per team
Contact details are visible only to the team running that material. If the same person visits another company here, nothing crosses between them.
Connecting addresses are not stored
They are used to estimate a city-level location and not retained.
Deletion can be requested
Anyone wanting their information removed can apply through the data deletion request page.
Access control
Who can see what is yours to decide.
Passwords
A password on a material link limits it to the people you tell.
Allowed addresses
Restrict the chatbot to appear only on sites you list.
Take it private
Even an already-shared link stops opening once set to private.
Team access
Only members you invited can reach the management screens.
Card details are not stored
Card payments are handled by the payment provider, and card numbers are not kept on our side. Only a masked number is shown for your reference.
Common questions
- Could our material surface in another company chatbot?
- No. Material is separated per account, and a chatbot draws only on material connected to its own account.
- Some of our documents contain things that must not be public.
- A material link lets you choose which uploads are shown. But what the chatbot draws on and what is displayed are different scopes, so anything that must never leave is safest not uploaded at all.
- What if a visitor types personal information into the chat?
- It stays in the record as written. We recommend instructing the chatbot not to solicit sensitive information.
- What happens to our material if we close the account?
- It is destroyed as part of closure. Certain member records may be retained for a set period where law requires it, such as dispute handling. The privacy policy has the detail.
